A simple probably little stupid question on the DB1

Hi

I have one, and I wanted to know the best way to keep the undertray on. I think I must have cut too much on the tray or it just is tricky to fit. I used double-side tape - but it clearly is not meant to be this way

Any suggestions or a photo would be lovely

Thanks

I just cut the tray to keep its two sides and put it between chassis and posts, enough to protect the car without ride height issues.

Check the DB1 thread for pix of Kev's install.

Kev and i run our trays above the chassis and simply tape the motor hole if its too wet.....some pics attached of Kevs car that I did for him at the last National (he is more than capable in doing himself of course but I think he was feeling lazy - LOL)

Hope the pics help you

A further question. I may have cut the shadow body shell a little short. Ie the bottom of the shell not reaching the carbon chassis. The part near the batteries. The body post is 2cm and I think it may need some filling down. Has anyone had to file this post sub 2cm to get the back of the body a little lower. I was putting on the undertray to try and Velcro it on. But I've done away with the undertray and trying to fit it a little lower.

So file the body post or another alternative?

Make be think a little side pod to Velcro the shell may be a better solution

Thanks

Mine have been fine,if anything they over hang when fitted, then I've marked and cut again to get it correct.
