Touring Car Noob - Shells Needed
Is it possible to get Subaru Impreza or Mitsubishi Evo shells for Touring cars. Already painted?
If so does anyone have any, what cars do they fit and how much. : ) Many thanks |
I know you can get both for the M chassis, but for the TC... I've never seen one for 190mm or 200mm.

Think Tamiya do them.

Thank you everyone. Now getting in touch!

Tamiya only do 185mm bodies in these

the TT-01 and TL-01 came with a subaru impreza |
.....which is only a 185mm wide if you measure it. The "basic" (TT01/TL01) Tamiya kits are not 190mm wide they are only 185mm
|
even so mate, they still fit 190mm chassis fine
|
Depends on what you call fine, 5mm too narrow to me is not fine to be honest.
|
to be honest mate, the people who run tamiya shells are mostly TT-01 racers, so they dont need any decent downforce or streamlined shape, not like modified
|
the audi a4 red bull dtm shell that comes with some tt-01's is 195mm, but thats called a 190mm

Well...this is what I was after. I don't know the size of this, but it's the perfect shape and design. Only problem is that I need 6 of them and after much hunting it appears these are not available as spares. You only get them if you buy the whole kit, really don't want the whole kit, especially not 6 of them for a one off - nor if they do not fit the cars (below)
