Protective coat for createx?

Is there anything I can use to try and stop createx water based paints from scratching so easily. I've heard the createx top coat can be used but I'm not sure and quite new to airbrushing. I tried overspraying with a white rattle can but it reacted with the createx paint. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi mate, I use Fastrax spa silver rattle can, it dose not react with createx as that's what I use mainly, 5 light coats, let it harden for a few days then apply some sort of tape to the spots where it will rub on the chassis, the better you can tape it up the more you stop the paint getting worn away.

Personally I solely use Plasticote enamel on the shells I paint, my personal shell is still going strong after 3 years :)

Wait until the WB paint has cured off and dried out - Preferably leave overnight. And mist on in light coats and use an hairdryer in between each coat
