xtm rage
 

i have purchased a xtm rage and bought a reedy mini modified 17t motor to put in it along with a nosram speedo. the spedo is fine but i am unsure of the motor. for a start off it is smaller in size plus the shaft is smaller in diameter. so the pinnion does not fit but i cannot locate a pinnion to fit. have i made a mistake buying the motor please help :)

no you havent made a mistake the motor shaft is 2mm not like the stock motor with a 2.3mm shaft try cain at rc modelinports if you need pinions

thanks for that so could you also tell me is this motor used alot in the 1/18th world

most people now use the brushless systems like the mamba or the new novak mongoose or the tekin rage for racing as they give better run times and performance hope this helps you out
