Winter Indoor series dates - Counthill

All,

Thank you for your patience. We have been working hard to arrange dates and have, as you will know, also been trying to look at more practical indoor venues (i.e somewhere with easier storage and track build options), for this coming winter series. Unfortunately our efforts have not found anywhere with easier setup options, so we will return to the Counthill venue.

Counthill is still a decent sized venue, with the necessary electric, tables etc, which we hope will still attract those racers wanting to test their slippery floor driving skills  and more importantly have some competitive, but fun racing over winter.

The dates are as follows;

Sunday 10th November 13
Sunday 8th December 13
Sunday 19th Jan 14
Sunday 9th Feb 14
Sunday 9th March 14

We may yet run a meeting in April either Sunday 6th or 13th. Tbc

Please let us know if you are planning to get to these meetings in advance? We will post new threads prior to each date, so please respond on them.

Track building will be from around 9-10.30am, with racing planned to start around 11am with pack up around 4pm. As always all help will be appreciated before and after. The new ramps will be utilised from the outdoor storage cabins, which hopefully will speed up track build, but carpet tape will be a plenty. :D

Get the dates in your diaries.

Darren

Hi guys. I will be starting racing again for the winter series but will need to join the BRCA first. Can I do this through the club and if so who do I need to speak to please?

Cheers

Maddy 18-10-2013 02:37 PM

Hi mate.
Yes you can join through the club and you need to speak to Si in race control

Chris B 18-10-2013 05:17 PM

Pretty sure you get 3 free meetings on brca so that would take you through to next year. Sure Someone will know for sure and sort you out

HyperDunley 18-10-2013 09:18 PM

Thanks for your replies.

Will contact Si about joining etc. Happy to pay for racing and support the club though...

Looking forward to this now. Just a PT to get and good to go

Happy New Year to all.

Reminder to get yourselves ready for the next indoor meeting at Counthill which is on

Sunday 19th Jan 2014.

I've even booked a day off work to make an appearance!

Which reminds me - who's got the transponder rack?
Only I've got the charger so we can't really got them working unless they both end up at the same place.....

birdy 02-01-2014 08:27 AM

Si, Mark has the rack, I am going to meet him either today or tomorrow then I can come and drop it with you.

Si Coe 02-01-2014 09:52 AM

Cool - Thats the problem with abandoning everything and rushing off at the last minute. You tend to leave vital things in the wrong place....

Gavin Collingwood 02-01-2014 12:48 PM

Can't be helped si...
