Round 2 of Winter wonder...DATE CHANGE...now Saturday 26th Oct
 

Hi All,

Unfortunately, due to matters outside of our control, the Mendip Club has decided to move it's AGM to Sunday 27th October, so our planned race meeting can no longer run on that day (for more details on the MMMRC club's AGM please see the other thread I'm about to post!)

Rather than cancel the meeting, or risk another clash with Tiverton, we're suggesting we move that meeting to the Saturday instead, so 26th October.

We know this is late notice, and not ideal for some due to work and other commitments, but we hope it is the best alternative in the circumstances.

Fingers crossed the weather is good again :thumbsup:

Looking forward to this meeting! Lots of changes on my DEX210 for the next one and I'm going to get my Short course ready to smash as well :D Didn't have any tyres for last meeting but I'll get some on order :)

So...only a few days to go...who's in?

The day change to Saturday currently looks like it was meant to be...and is a break in the wet weather either side of it....for now!

And just to spice things up...there is some fairly big news coming on the Club front...this weekend is going to be very interesting all round! :thumbsup:

I'm in 2wd be there about 9:30 if that ok!!

9:30 is fine! Racing won't start until 10-10:30 anyway! :thumbsup:

One other thing to note....

IMPORTANT!!!

The main site generator is currently not running properly, so you MUST bring your own power!

The sockets that some of you have found in the pits won't be working for charging.

We have power to run race control, but that is all this weekend. This will be fixed properly in the very near future...but not for this weekend.

If this is an issue then post it up, or drop us a line and we'll see if we can arrange for you share someone's 12v! :)

Can't wait :D got a long chassis on my DEX210! Not sure what I'm going to do for a shell then...might try running short course although my chassis is looking a bit broke :(

Tom Roach and myself used the phat shell and just heated it up and moulded it round the long chassis, doesn't look 100% close up but works and is smoother to drive than the cab forward durango shell.

planning to come over the bridge for some fun. If all goes to plan, i may even have a short course to play with. It will mean i am twice as knackered for charging, will sort something out.

I can do charging on one more car off my 12v...not sure I'd manage 2 extra cars off it though.

The plan didnt go to plan if you know what i mean, so i plan on only racing the losi. thats the new plan. Did i say plan enough?

Thanks for the offer for charging, i will try to find some self sufficient means, but i am not sure i will get the chance!
