Can Sensor port on esc be checked?
 

As title says. Is there a way to check/measure the sensorport function of an esc (hobbywing v2.1 if that is important).

I know there are devices to check this on the motor, so was hoping there's also something like this for an esc.

And if the sensorport is indeed defective, just bin it?

The reason I ask this is the fact that my motor (tried several tbh) doesn't want to start anymore unless i spin the wheels, so I'm pretty sure it's the esc. :(

from following previous threads its sounds like a phase gone in your ESC so i think your diagnosis is correct unfortunately

hobby wing should work in sensorless mode too I think, so prob more than your sensor circuit and a phase has gone as fidspeed has said
