Durango at the Worlds
Found this pic of someones 210, took a while to figure it out.
Low gear box.. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ndhanna/td.jpg Lutz http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...dhanna/td2.jpg http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2013Race...EUR_9653-L.jpg Still the +8 alu chassis thats NOT released http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2013Race...EUR_9683-L.jpg http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2013Race...EUR_9696-L.jpg Hupo http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2013Race...EUR_9957-L.jpg http://gallery.neobuggy.net/2013Race...EUR_9958-L.jpg Current European Champion Joern Neumann said considering the lack of mileage with Durango’s latest prototype, which he only got to run for the first time today, free practice had gone ok. Describing the new buggy as ‘much better’ than its predecessor he said they are still learning how it reacts to set-up changes. Using the last practice to try a different front tyre he said the JConcepts Barcodes gave the buggy understeer and so he will revert to back to their Dirt Webs |

Nice! Keep us posted if you see any more :)

There are a few interesting new things you can see in the pics from the Worlds, rear arms with holes for front or rear mounted shocks, more shock mounting positions on the front and rear towers.

More V2 news
http://www.neobuggy.net/2013/09/24/t...-v2-spy-shots/ Looks like new: Front arms Shocks Caps Springs?? Whats on Jörns car, there are a lot more coils. Slipper from a MR2?? Looks similar Hex on front? or SC bits there? Ball cups Gear box Rear link mountings like the Tresrey ones Rear towers of corse to fit the gear box but with more inner holes LRC RR hanger REar hubs |
Not just that, seems like the rear inner hinge pins are further apart than usual, too (much like on the X6). Also, note the 'regular' CVDs (instead of the captive ones inside the ball bearing) and the different outdrives.
Looking at the finish of the gear casing, I would say it is actually 3D printed, which could mean the gearbox internals (like diff and slipper) are not actually Durango parts yet at the moment... |

Btw, Definetely seems like a 3D printed gear casing there. |
Some of those parts were already used at the euros. The car at the worls seems to be more 'production-ready' but pretty similar design i'd say.
|
yes all this belt drive hype and what was in the final C4.2 and how old is that original design
|
Driving a car that they got a week before sounds stupid.
DEX410 will probably be a lot more competitive. Joern is damn good on high grip when the car works. |
yep you are so right, you do not do your development in public a real dumb assed idea, yet Schumacher did the same thing
