Did one run last weekend to shake the car down, handled great for the few laps it did before the tight box killed the slipper clutch. Now sorted the diff casing and looking forward to racing it Thursday. Current set up is the same as I had on my 22

Mine felt great Tuesday night at maritime racing.
Yes my gearbox was really tight at first and melted the gears but with building the box carefully shes running free.
yes to pretty much my 22 set up only moving the rear camber link to the top middle...loads of grip everywhere now.

Well the car was good for first time out, after 2 runs team vega driver James Lucas suggested a few set up tweaks to rear camber link hole. Car had front grip which was a shock after the std 22! I would say it was a massive improvement and half the cars in the area final were all other types of vega at SHRCCC farnborough.

You drove really well, although your bodyshell was not good, not good at all :wtf: and almost a direct copy of my old shell. Think the Vega's came in 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. Ill be back with mine next week :)

That's great, think terry has got a Tamiya one too now, vega a final lock out is on its way!!! Compared to the x-ray I borrowed the other week the Vega is not as good on the front end BUT is 10 times better than the std 22. Also jumps so well and flat I could not belive it, could keep the power on in air and land still on power where the 22 would still be settling its self. All in all, a great up-grade for an old losi 22 if you can afford it.

Also very strong when defensively driven.....

I have just fitted the exotek steering to my Vega 22, I will report back on how I find it.
