Looking at getting started
 

Hi all I'm looking into getting started and having a play with painting
But I've no idea were to start
Like what do I need and where's the best to buy compressed and stuff from
I realise it's a bit vague but any help out there is much appreciated :thumbsup:

1 - Gravity fed Airbrush .5 to .3 airbrush nozzel size
2 - Compressor (with an air tank)
3 - Moisture trap
4 - Paint (Faskolor/ Createx or RCS water based)
5 - Liquid Mask (RCS , Parma Fasmask etc)
6 - Brush (to brush on the liquid mask)
7 - Xacto Knife with spare blades (no 11 for starters)
8 - Sharpie type marker pen and motor spray to wipe pen off when designing
9 - Tracing paper to trace the design from one side to another (white baking paper works fine and cheaper)
10 - An object to paint i.e. Body shell

Not sure why we don't have sticky thread for newcomers ....

Cheers mate that's a big help just with the compressor is it just a general compressor
Seen a few starter kits on eBay from about 40 to80 obviously I know these won't do as good as atop model but coulda hey do for a start thanks

Is probably one of the most common questions in this section.
