Fantastic! Have fun Joel!
Your car is so similar to mine, like twins :) Hope you do well and have a great time. Dan |

Have a great race and take pics if you can so that you can do a short report of the event, would be fantastic. Bye WWD :) |

Got that question sorted out. Ordered a few sets of LiPos from Hobbyking US Warehouse and they should now be at the place where I'll stay. So, no LiPos on the plane and I will leave them there as a gift for the guy who invited me :) Thanks for the wishes |
That sounds great and the car looks awesome!!
Get loads of pics!!! |

Do you have the part number for the B44.2 Lipo holders? Have fun in the states mate! Rgds |
Great looking Mid!!!
Good luck and most of all have fun!!! |
Thanks guys. It was super fun! In the end I took the 4th place out of 6 participants in 4WD. My first race ever and it was a great experience. The car held up well and the loose track surface acted as a slipper which saved my drive line a bit I believe. The tires I used was not optimal though and in some corners I did brake to soon. Also, a lot of big mistakes where made!

Thanks for the honorable mention regarding the delrin gears. I betcha it would have been better if you had the B4 slipper on. Your car looks sharp and clean, I can never get mine to look that good. Mine always looks rundown no matter what I do lol. But it works great.
Looking at your video, I noticed your car bounced and lost its direction a lot because the track was super bumpy. I also noticed you placed your rear shocks on the outermost hole on the arm. I suggest you use the innermost hole, this will make the suspension softer and handle bumps better, it will also increase droop. Seems to work on my Mid. |

You are right, my car was not dialed for that track. One can see that some of the other cars had a much better setup. I did not have so much time for practice and testing so instead I tried to drive the car is it was and learn about it's flaws. Anyway, it felt great running the Mid among other vintage cars. I hope I can get back there next year. |

One of these days we'll race our almost identical cars together Joel :)
Mine has identical fibreglass chassis, top deck, doubled rear shock towers with rear mounted shocks, B4 slipper clutch, a&l steering and as you see Yokomo wheel adaptors. B44.2 LiPo holders are about to be fitted too! http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...psea6d9dc9.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...ps92897c8e.jpg and next to my 4 year old daughters Raider ;) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...ps437468fd.jpg |
That would be awesome, Dan! Very nice car you have there ;)
