Hobbywing Xerun Fried ?

Hope you can help, I think my son fried his hobbywing 60a this weekend. Battery wires in the wrong way, sparks etc.

When I had a look, steering was working, but no drive.

I reset the throttle points on it, now all it does is full power !! Steering still works.

It has been a great little controller, so don't really want to through it away. Any ideas on what I can try ?

Thanks

You've fried/shorted out part of the control "bits".
Time to get the card out, unfortunately.

Might be worth making the leads exactly the right length next time, so they can't both be inserted wrongly. I've done the same after connecting back to front.
