EBOR 24hr race - 26/27 Oct 2013
 

The above date is penciled in for the ebor race, but...
it will NOT be happening without a team of dedicated track builders and track dismantellers. The team would need to work from 9pm on Fri 25th oct to build a track that will require zero maintenance, build the alloy scaffold rostrum and set-up race control (with Mike's assistance) and then take it all down again on Sunday 27th oct at 2pm.
On the list so far is the legend Steve (the verminator) Pierce.

Please post your real name below if you can guarantee to do the above work on the dates required. The race will not be happening if we can't get enough volunteers.

Completely understandable that it has been cancelled - biggest issue (for me anyway) it that there was to short notice on the event, as it was only confirmed on last Saturdays race meeting…. :o
I wanted to run my own team and that requires a bit of planning and not to mention spending well over £500-£600 on a new car and spares + electrics etc.
Also its now come that time of year where I’ve now gone onto saving mode - not spending mode. ;)
