Associated Hex Rear Wheels on BMax2 MR
What are peoples experiences with using Associated rear wheels on the BMAX2?
I assume that if the Associated hexs' are used then some shims will be required to stop the movement of the driveshaft in the hub? Thank you Neil |
There are several possibilities, I am using BM-011S wheel spacers and proline B4 rear hexes. SC10 adapters are also supposed to work, but I didn't try it so far.

Thanks. Are the proline adaptors these:
http://prolineracing.com/performance...-hex-adapters/ ? If so, I wonder if they are the same thickness as the Associated ones? |
Yes, these are the ones. Thickness should be the same.

OK, thanks. I just tried the Associated wheel spacers off my B4, they fit most of the way onto the shaft but fail to go the last ~3mm as the shaft increases in diameter by a very very small amount. I will get the spacers you suggest (off the BMAX4 ?) and give them a try with my Associated wheel hex adapters.
The car is now all ready to go, I just need my new shell. Neil |
I am using b4 front hexes over the stock conical spacer. It's really easy and the offset is the same.
