501x running lipos

hi , is anyone running a 501x atm with lipos, i have the 502x lipo trays but it seems the rear bulkhead and motor bulkhead are in the way to fit the trays in the middle where the belt runs.

anyone got any ideas or what you have done to sort it, cheers

Contact Frederick on here, his lipo trays are a straight fit, never used the 502 set

xfactor, did you use the 44.1 carbon spacer for the middle also with just the 2 trays on either side of the lipo.

thanks

Hi Martin, no i didnt use the carbon center square bit, i used brass weight in the center and the tamiya lock down kit.I did away with the battery posts with body clips.

I used the middle spacer with double side tape and it's perfect! The screw and nut (comes in kit) can/will cut the belt

yeah i was going to use the middle spacer with the 502 trays on the outsides only.

but fredrik is making me a new set of trays specially for it without the hassle of the spacer and the height for the posts.
