Mardave Mini and Caterham

Hi all,

I've come across these on the Mardave site and thought they look fun. Anyone in the bucks area have a class for these?

Cheers

Hi,

There are a couple of clubs you should consider. Mardave/GT12 class is run at a club in Wycombe and another club in Ware, Herts. These are the two BRCA affiliated clubs that are probably closest to you but if you can venture further afield there are two more based in Cambridge? There might be others that are not BRCA affiliated. Where in Bucks are you based?

Hope this helps

James

Thanks for the reply, I'm in Aylesbury so Wycombe would be the closest.

You've got plenty of choice for GT12 within a short drive.

In addition to the ones mentioned Leighton Buzzard run on a Tuesday night, Bedford on a Friday night and Milton Keynes on a Sunday morning.

Worth noting that the Mardave mini and Caterhams won't really compete with the later gt12 style cars...they are fun but don't handle as well / more twitchy than the gt12 or vrx style Mardaves/Supastoxs that will be more popular at the gt12 clubs. You might find somewhere running dedicated controlled Mini or Caterham classes though...

Hi Boons,

My name is Mark Goodchild and I'm chairman at Wycombe.

Our GT12 class runs on Saturday evenings. Doors open around 6:30pm.
It is fun and relaxed and we have a wide range of ability drivers that attend..

Come down and take a look..
The only difference between Wycombe GT12 and National GT12 is that we do not use additive at the club currently.

Check out..

Cheers,
Mark.
