Next Meeting: Thursday 29th August
 

Hi Guys

Next meeting is this Thursday and doors open from 6.30pm.

In preparation of the Reedy Style meeting on the 8th of September I might use this evening as a test bed to understand the format, timing and printing etc so we get it right on the day.

You'll still get plenty of free practice and 5 races for all, but they'll all be finals!

Although I think we might have to 'police' each race 'well' as (I'm guessing) there will be no having to pull over for a faster car as its not qualifying..?

Just need to make sure we all race fair and not drive into/over people if we can help it..!

Yes, each Race will have a ref on the rostrum watching, as like you say, a race is a race! Be a good trial.

Shaun R will be learning the ropes at Race Control, I'll be shadowing him for the booking in process. He'll in running the races and keeping an eye on you rabble!

Still not in a position to race due to house move - haven't looked at car stuff since before Germany. In fat last time I raced was the last round of mid south regionals :eh?:

But I may pop down to say to everyone

I shall be down the track probably with a camera, unless someone happens to have spares of the parts that are broken in my car.

I haven't decided if I'm gonna do 2wd or 4wd at the GP yet, tonight will be the decider :lol:

To be honest they'll be over 50 racing in the 2wd class... With a proper Reedy format, only 8 4wd's so far so all they'll be having is mixed grids, better racing in the 2wd class on the day if you ask me.... Lets chat later :)

I'm karting this afternoon but fingers crossed I'll be back in time to race tonight :thumbsup:

Interesting format tonite! Nice to mix it up a bit... Also some real good close wheel to wheel racing with a couple of guys, thanks!

Would have been much better if I hadn't trashed the TM2... Time for more locktight for me I think! At least I had the 'rango as a spare car

I think the Apex GP is going to be FUN in that format! The only thing I can see is that I don't think I actually raced against 'everybody' else tonite and had several people in the majority of my heats too.. Any idea how come?

I still need to tinker with the BBK set up, but remember, we only did 4 rounds due to the time, Sunday it'll be 7 rounds, so a more even spread. :thumbsup:
