What tyres on a Stadium Truck for carpet?

Hi everybody!
I still like racing my 22T indoor, and noticed that Schumacher Mini Pins for ST have been discontinued.:(
So what tyres you think are the best solution for carpet?? The range of choice seems really small..
Please help!

2wd SC would use mini pins blue or yellow on drive and staggers on front steering.
4wd SC would use minipins blue or yellow all round. Cut pins off outer edges to stop grip roll. make sure you dremel smooth as will keep rolling you over.

Thanks mate, but I'm looking to a solution for stadium truck, not short course...
It's for the stadium truck that mini pins are no longer available..

Oh yeah......stadium not short course.....
Would defo try yellow minispikes on rear then.
Schumacher microspike or Vee4.
Take a look at 10th truck tyres on racing-cars.com

I was considering mini spikes (yellow), but I think that the few pins will wear almost immediately.
I was also looking to HPI Ground Assault, with several, squared pins. The harder D compound should be good for indoors.
No idea on how would microspikes work..
:confused::confused::confused::confused:
Thanks!!

Chances are nobody is interested in this, but I think it is worth spreading this info..

Stadium Truck HPI Ground Assault D tyres are very good on carpet.
Good balance of forward and side bite, and pretty low wear rate.
The S compound would be too soft, could potentially work with stiffer inserts but surely with high wear rate.
D compound needs a couple laps to warm up, then it's fine.

Haven't tested yet the minispikes yellow..;)

I'm interested :). I'm putting a DEST210R together for our Triple Crown indoor Winter Series this year and tyres seem to be a bit of an unknown. I bought Yellow mini spikes for the rear, staggered ribs for the front and a set of Ground Assaut D's because they looked like they would probably work... I'll be interested to see a comparison between ground assaults and the mini spkies if you run them. What inserts are you running? The Schumacher and HPI inserts seem a little soft to me.

Cheers,
Jon.

Has any one tried the tyres yet? What work or not

IV been running a truck over winter on carpet and shiny wood and have found yellow staggers or yellow mini spikes up front and yellow mini spike rears are faster over one lap but wear quickley and yellow vee 2s on the rear feel more planted and stable over all services hope that helps....
