Lovely Team tub.

MHeadling 25-08-2013 07:38 PM

Thanks guys, glad you like it, I'm really pleased how the build came together :wub

Set up is just kit at the mo, just added B4 springs and 35/30wt oil

Elec set up will be a SP LPF with a 13.5 to start with, cml shorty 4000mah pack and a savox low pro servo

DrPaul 31-08-2013 12:02 PM

Hi Mark,

Which rear hubs and driveshafts did you fit so you can fit B4 rear wheels. How is for width?

southern racer 31-08-2013 03:01 PM

Low profile servos are definitely the way to go with these, if you use a low profile in conjunction with the thin Xray T3 servo posts, you can mount the posts in front of the servo and get the servo steering link pretty much dead centre rather than a crazy angle.

MHeadling 01-09-2013 12:19 PM

To get the B4 rims to fit you simply need B4 rear hubs, drilled out to 1/8th to accept the RC10 hinge pin, then use rear B44 cvd's and that's it!

To get the front width the same I have used AE T4 in line axles

Yes SR I will use a low profile savox in this car, just waiting for the shell to turn up from A main then I'll get it off to the painters and get the elecs installed

Finished!

First test run with the wide arms, springs need to be stiffer and taking it easy as not sure how strong the 3d printed arms are

xfactor 21-08-2015 01:51 PM

Looks good Marko. I was thinking the same about the 3D printed. Seems a little brittle to me but time will tell.
