Removing Tyres with Acetone are they still useable

I have some brand new tyres that I want to remove from the rims and was wondering if I use acetone, will I be able to re-use them or does it affect the rubber?

In the past when I have wanted to re-use the tyres I have boiled them off, but when removing old discarded tyres I use the acetone method. The rubber looks to be unaffected with this method, but I'm unsure if this has any affect on reusing them for racing.

Any thoughts.

It seems to depend on which tyres really, can't speak for every type, but Schumacher yellows tend to go hard afterwards, DBoots though seem to be unaffected.

I use a veg steamer, put them in for about a hour and they come straight off, the foams are still dry and reusable too.

What's the best temperature to bake a tyre at tricky?...

I normally put them in around 160 but that's with 1/8 size wheels, try it with an old wheel I put them in for 5 minutes n see what there like if they don't peel off the rim I put them in abit longer.

Would advise to wear gloves as they get quite hot,
