Poynton Model Car Club - Does it still exist?
 

A long shot this, I used to race here back in the early 90's and understand that it's still in existence and still runs Wednesday evenings in the winter months but can't find any info anywhere. It used to be a great nights racing run by Trevor Yapp of Chapel Models which I understand has now packed in.

Anyone with any info would be much appreciated.

Poynton club still exists and is still run at Poynton Civic Hall on wednesday nights. I've not been there for years but I know they still race as one of my club members at Stockport Model Car Club still races there regularly.

I must say it's been 10-15 years since Trevor had anything to do with Poynton though, he was running the friday nights racing at Macclesfield then Phoenix Raceway until it shut a few months ago. Dennis Brownlee has run it for many years now, he can be contacted on 01625 871456.
