Another 210 diff problem...
 

I've done the conversion to mm4 from rm3 on my rtr dex210 all seems fine apart from the fact the diff seems to be acting strangely.

Before the conversion if you held the car rotated one of the rear wheels it would not move the opposite wheel.

Now I have done the conversion if I rotate the left rear wheel it turns the right rear wheel in the opposite direction but if I move the right rear wheel the left wheel does move... I'm sure this is not right but I did nothing to the diff in the conversion so what could have caused this?... Any ideas would be great! :)

Sounds like normal behaviour to me unless both my cars are wrong too :bored:

Sorry that should of read if I the left wheel the right wheel moves but if I move the right wheel the left wheel doesn't move...

Think it should work both sides both one works one!

I assume that the spur moves instead of the left wheel. You should be looking for binding in the left hand drivetrain. Seized bearing on the left side of the diff? Over-tightened left wheel nut causing binding in bearings? .....

I'll have a good check through the things you mentioned... Hopefully that will sort it! :)

If its all new internal gears then they might need a little bit of running in to get it smooth.
Check with what Greger said first and also have a feel if its a bit notchy at all. If so a bit of a run is what it will need

If its under full droop could be just the wheel touching the ball joint and binding it a bit.

Also check that the wheel isnt binding to the hub.

I noticed this problem when tightening the wheels (too much).
