nice

lookin a bit flat on the right hand side, any plans for some new jumps?

Its far from flat in person carl. There is still a lot of elevation change it the second half of the lap and the bombhole leading into the final corner. You will soon realise that when you drive it. I found that out to my expense yesterday , but i would like to put a proper jump in on the "flat" side so we can get some air time. I dont want it to become an obsticle course. I like a track to have a natural flow all the way round and to feel that you can push your car all the way round. We have certainly achieved that already as im sure anyone who raced yesterday will vouch for.

Hopefully some more vids and pics will be posted soon to give you some different aspects.

:o this was a track that had land mines going off when you was racing  they have done a great job

JohnM 19-08-2013 11:31 AM

As George said, the track has a really nice flow to it now, drives really nicely. Big well done to the lads who put the time & effort in.

A jump might be nice, but only if it's done right, a bad jump just for a jumps sake will ruin it.

And the right hand side is anything but easy, still plenty to make you think Carl;)

What an awesome 1/10th astro track. It looks very well thought out in order to make it flow. Useful when you want to attract all levels of drivers and don't want them coming off the track every lap.

What a shame that it wont be on the Regional for next year.

Exactly my thoughts David...

Coastal

Do we know for definite that they won't be running a Regional then, I know it was said after their round this year but it would be a shame as when there is a ref present at the meetings most of the rubbish is stamped out.

Without meaning any disrespect to anyone , would it be possible to have at least one thread in our section that doesn't include the politics of recent regional meetings ?

I'm sure this thread was started to show the fabulous new track we have now , and the fact that we might be able to race through the winter without our track turning into a mud bath !!

I was down there on Sunday , not racing but practising filming with my Quadcopter , I'll try and put up a couple of "aerial shots" of the new layout !

Top job everyone concerned anyway for getting the track to its current form !

Nice job. Worth a road trip

GrahamH7060 19-08-2013 08:08 PM

I'll grant you it might be entertaining READING it ! But I ASSURE you it's a very different matter if you have to LISTEN to it !!

Thanks to Ben for sorting them out ! Not the original high definition from my GoPro but you get the idea !!
