Do Yellow mini pins work at RHR?

Im racing at the RHR for the first time on saturday and to save me messing around too much do yellow mini pins work up there? or is the astro too long for them? thanks in advance

No, mini spikes are what you want on the rear for 2WD.

Most of the astro at RHR is short. I've run pins for a couple of laps and they were ok. Spikes were 3/4 seconds a lap faster. Worn spikes still work well.

Minipins don't work well..

Ok thanks very much. Do they give less grip then?

I suggest if you're not going to trust the reply from the guy who owns the track then you just try them yourself in practice......

Its more a case of curiosity than trust :)

Not trying to hijack this one, but regards to pins would Schumy Yellow's or Ballisitic White's be better ?

Im guessing if its wet them similar wet compounds (silver Schumy/Green Ballistic) would be used ?

cheers

yellow spikes if dry or green ballistics if wet on the rear easy. i've done a few laps round there they are the BEST.

Yes these also work well in the dry, plus they last for ages!
