Hi, out of interest what tyres were people using on the astro track at RHR?

Tyres

On the front worn Schumacher blue spikes with the inner and outer 2 rows cut of and on the rear I had new yellow Schumacher spikes

stupid question (and probably going to get shot to sh@t for it) but why did you guys run on the astro? would the drit track of been better for short course?

Astro

Dirt track is only for controlled tyres which are pro lines ONLY

Unfortunately the Dirt track is being prepped for the oOple Invernational but it would be good to get a full SC National on the dirt!

I have not run my DESC410 yet, first outing is the Invernational. I don't want to smash the body shell up, it looks too nice after Mike Parker painted it!

Not really a stupid question

Using RHR as a venue was a last minute decision as we were let down by another club. We ony had two weeks to move the meeting so Astro was the only way to go as we all have astro tyres to hand.

Dirt would be ace to race on... maybe next year...
