I've been a long-time LRP user. Switched to another speedo brand last year as I thought LRP may have lost their competitive edge. Switched back to a LRP FLOW recently - absolutely delighted! Runs cool, really nice feel to the throttle, very reliable..... couldn't recommend it enough.

LRP have supplied details to us of his winning setup...

Martin's Motor,
LRP X20 7.5t motor fitted with a 12.0mm Rotor and LRP #82515 cooling set.

Speed controller,
LRP FLOW 80970 equipped with v.3.3 software, settings were 5-3-2-0-0-/-3.

Yes...it was a 7.5 motor in 4WD! but fitted with a 12mm rotor for more revs.....opposite to what you would think to do maybe, but it obvoiusly worked!

Track lacked grip in a lot of corners, i reckon a 7.5 was a smart move.

I'm not aware of any problems. A quick look through oople and rctech doesn't seem to highlight anything.

There was an fairly high profile issue with the BEC on SXX V2 - but that was rectified.

From my experience the Flow is very reliable

agreed, I work for SMD the distributor for LRP and we have had very few issues with them, ever.
