Speed Passion GT2.0 LPF Firmware

Right, finally got an LCD card sorted out and can now update the firmware on the GT. But my christ does it get hot.

Whats the best firmware to stick on for buggy racing (its a 210, running a 6.5t/5200kV trackstar motor).

Got 428stock on there at the moment and had to turn everything off!
With the "standard" set up i was hitting 100+ degrees after 3-4 mins, with it all turned off, its not even hitting 50 after 10..........

Would 428mod be an improvement? I understand that the mod and stock refer to the type of motor its most suitable to use, so stock is more tweakable, but mod will take a far more powerful motor.......

Any help gratefully received.

Been a while since I've used one but I would almost definitely say you need to use the mod software with a 6.5t.

The stock firmware has also sorts of boost and timing attributes that you wouldn't (well I certainly wouldn't) need with a 6.5t motor :)

Cheers, put the mod firmware in, see how that goes

I have the pro version and I use v3.xxxxxx.mod I think... (Somewhere along thoses lines)

I also have a 6.5t sp motor and its seems to runs fine

Sure the motor gets hot, but you can still keep you finger on it for more than 3 secs

I also run my esc without a fan too and that get hot but nothing extreme
