DEX210 Front Cut Down Wheels, Inserts Yes or No?

Hi

Quick question which I cant find the answer to. I've cut down the wide front wheels to the inside lip to use some cut staggers on astro track, is it best to run with or without foam inserts?

Thanks

Hi
if they are low profile cut staggers no insert neeeded,no need to glue either

Thanks for quick response, they are low profile, I'll see how they go unglued :)

I'd glue them

Glue them.
Big slide or a crash and you'll lose the tyre!

never glued mine on the front tyres....to date never lost one yet in a slide or crash...unlike the glued rear tyres that once in a while fall off!

Glue glue glue and more glue! Want to loose a race over a missing tyre? It can happen, for the sake of a bit of glue!

Staggers and cut staggers can last for an age also, ive ran both in yellow compound, with using regular staggers more ive easily had 6-7 meetings out of that pair and only just changing now!

Glue

I glue only for big meetings like Regionals, Oople series etc and don't glue for club racing.

4 dots of CA glue on the outside (preferably thick stuff so it doesn't run around the bead of the tire) and the same on the inside? That way you don't lose the tire or have the inside sliding back and forth over the rim, and it is easy to take off :) I have seen tires knocked out of shape that weren't glued on... but not knocked off. Then again if it goes off the outside bead even partially the handling will feel just a bit woozy :p

As for inserts: Yellow low profile cut staggers/ in the dry, none... I have no experience with the silvers/in the wet.
