E-Flite Blade 350 QX

Just announced today, E-Flite look to have taken interest in a certain DJI product and produced their own!

The GPS looks like it's got some good features to it, and a GoPro mount included too....

Alot smaller too. Larger generally increases stability for GoPro rigs.
It'll either be superb, or will self destruct when a fly hits it!
Either way, another RTF kit from a well respected manufacturer can only be a good thing.

what makes you think it'll be a lot smaller? this is a 350 size quadcopter same as the phantom

I may well be wrong, but I always assumed the phantom was a 450?

IIRC the Phantom is a 450 as its just a flamewheel inside a plastic case.

i have a 450 and a phantom here along with a TBS discovery and spidex quadcopter....the phantom is smaller than the 450 ...i'll get some pics up so you can compare size

The Phantom's definitely a 350, unless their website is wrong!

DJI clearly have a fantastic product and more experience with them, but this E-Flite offering looks good on paper. I suppose only time will tell as to how good it really is but it's good to see big brands jumping in on this expanding market.

I'm still waiting for cheaper versions of the Parrot AR Drone. I've had one myself and they are great but just a tad too expensive for most people which is why I ended up getting rid eventually...

Phantom is a 350 Col. It does have a full blown Naza v1 inside it, and is essentially an RFT F350 with a different frame, props and plastic shroud.

This new product does look good and certainly inspired by the phantom. Hope it performs as well, and interested to see how it flys.

Doesn't look bad at all! Might have to get one of these pre-ordered! :)

Pretty cool video! Keep meaning to get out with our 350QX and leave it in the boot but haven't had chance to do more than the road outside the office!

Any more meets planned around the NW soon?

Is the Phantom a 350 or 330?

Love my 350, just fitted a brushless gimbal and very pleased with the results
