What do all the settings on an ESC actually do?

Does anyone have a defined list of what each setting does and what effect it has on things?

Especially timing and boost etc?

Thanks!

boost timing = static or constant motor timing is in affect through the whole rev range, and doesn't change

turbo timing = is timming added to boost timing at a set point and set time after a SET DELAY

ddrs/punch/ = the aggressiveness of the throttle through the rev range

drag brakes = the amount of motor breaking that is provided as you let of throttle applied in the neutral range of the throttle

brake power/max brake = the amount of braking applied to the motor in the throttle breaking range

bead band or neutral range = the mount of play forward and backward that the throttle stick can move before it has any effect

Neutral Range

bead band or neutral range = the mount of play forward and backward that the throttle stick can move before it has any effect.

What is the norm for this setting. I know mine is set at 6%, is this too much.
