Body reinforcement tape
 

Hi all,

I've just started racing Tamiya Mini's and I've noticed how battered the cars get!

Can you suggest a tape to stick at in the venerable areas. I've heard some folk suggest grp tape?

Use Shoe Goo inside the body shell to stop cracking.

For the ultimate reinforcement use shoegoo and dry wall tape :thumbsup:

try E6000 available through fleece bay , crafting section 3.7fl oz under a fiver its very similiar to "goop"

awesome stuff also available in skeleton gun cartridges for thr "heavy abuser" it does go off in the cartridges though so you need to make sure end is sealed after use

Palmers metals are the boys for larger quantitites

I use fibreglass tape covered with Shoe Goo, the two together make for a very strong repair.

Plasterers skrim tape and shoe good, best by far
