Reventon pro setup help

Hi so I recently brought a reventon pro and have a v3 6.5t wanting to know what's the best setup with hybrid boost on and what's the maximum it can take with a 6.5t will be used outdoor on astro. At the moment have it set up with 40% hb with 120k and 3* 0.2s delay can I put that up more at all as not sure what's the max it can take or what is suited as this is my first adjustable esc as previously only had brushed esc.

Thanks in advance

There is no such thing as a max it can take bud. It depends on lots of variables such as how aggressive you are on throttle, weight of car, how free drivetrain is, length/grip levels of track etc. You just have to trial and error to find out. I wouldn't be trying to get the max speed out of the motor though, if you need to do that, maybe you need a faster motor :)

Ok just someone said that 50% is about as much as they could handle with something like a 6.5t. Ok yea just on the straights I need it as seemed slow compared to others running same motors but could just be my batteries as currently saving up for convention to lipo as running ep4200 nimh still. Will try setting it up a bit higher next time I'm out racing see how I go

software recommended max settings are 50% & 130k on a 6.5

For sure its the nimh's.

Get lipo's in and you'll likely be limiting the power some.

yea i slso thing the motor is part of the problem as the sensore were playing up but wasnt sure if that was the fact i set it up to high as before i had it like 80% at 140k but spend some of today stripping the motor and re-soldering all the tabs and also re-shimming the rotor as wasnt any in it and seems to be ok now so will see next meet how it goes. will pop it at 50% at 130k and see how i get on but yea lipo is my next investment
