B44.1 Vs 410v3
 

Team associated b44.1 or a Durango dex 410v3
Any advice please ??

both very good cars and very different
one has geared diffs, other has ball

if your looking for an easy drive, easy to setup etc then b44.1
if your looking for more technical and a generally faster drive then 410

however unless your buying second hand I wouldnt bother with the 44.1 I'd get the 44.2

Afro is pretty much on the money .

I have owned or own both.

I ran a B44 , changed to a Durango 410 which was a lot more aggressive , but you can really fling that bad boy about.

In the end after a wee try of a Lazer fs2 which i found great but slightly lacking , i went for a B44.1 and love it.

Easy to set up and respond's well to minor tweaks.

Go to your local track and see wot people run as knowledge is power but getting spares on the nite is everything lol , the buggy helps but its the hands that steer it that makes all the difference .

I do believe Jorn was leading a leg of the a final at the Worlds comfortably before the motor failed and he won the final leg so potentially the 410 could've been World Championship. Associated generally win due to the number of team drivers they have.

This means your first statement was pointless.

Anyway back to the point.

Dex410 - Can be an animal because its so aggressive that can bite you hard if you get it wrong. However once you get the base setup right it is a super quick car that'll put a smile on your face and you know you've put in a good time. Another good thing is once you have that base setup only minor changes are needed from track to track.

B44 - This opinion is based on the original. Safe, consistent and stable which is what you want if your relatively new to the hobby. Unfortunately it's one of those cars which you think you've done a great time and when you check you always come back disappointed. I'm not sure about the B44.2 though whether the tweaks have sharpened it up.
