Friday + dry = racing

Eh? It's Friday and it's not raining? What's all that about. Must be global warming I guess. Anyway, good news is that means we're racing.

Racing on a dry track is fun :D Might even bring the boy next week if it stays dry... *fingers crossed*

My TLR22 seems to ice skate even on dry grass though :( Can't say that Chris didn't warn me though... Turns out he was right, on grass it is awful.

May even bring out the Traxxas!!!....

If you have a ball diff, try that next week :)

sell it and get a proper car

Is that a shameless plug for your Cougar, mate?

Lots of advice there, thanks. I tried Tasha's £50 Team-C and honestly that was SO much better than the Losi. I would not be shocked if my drifter had more grip than the Losi!

Anyway, going to do something radical, it was running GREAT on carper!!! It looks like simply softening a little won't do. Shockingly my Traxxas runs better on grass than this right now! Will take that as a backup option next time around.

As for getting a "proper" car, well it doesn't need to be much more than a £50 Team C for me to be considerably happier!

PS: The only ball diff I have is a Team-C one in need of a rebuild which I am told fits.

No faith! Some tinkering over the week and it is running AWESOME!... Dave drove it and he agreed it isn't bad :) By tinkering I mean copying a setup from petitrc and tweaking from there. But anyway, it is WAY better.

Mind you, ran it back to back with my 1997 Traxxas Bandit and that's just as fast on the slippery grass. Close to 2 kg of of chunky plastic awesomeness....
