trying to pick 2wd mid motor?

hi im trying to pick 2wd mid motor buggy and the 2 that seem to be going for more at min is losi 22 and hobao h2 pro just seeing what people think is best out of too
but h2 seems very good as cheaper and wheels and tyres come with it I heard
just seeing if they be extra I would need to upgrade on h2 that wont really need to touch on 22

The Team C TC02C is a bargain from here:

Not sure the kit tyres with the H2 are any good for racing (I'd guess not) & it doesn't have a servo saver built in, otherwise it actually looks pretty good.
The 22 is near bullet proof & a more track proven.

what you mean by servo saver? sorry new to electic as more of nitro person
does the losi 22 come with this?

Dandare 17-06-2013 07:53 PM

It just means that if there is no servo saver if the front wheels take a hit the servo too takes the force. A servo saver is effectively a sprung connection between the servo arm & steering linkage which will 'give' on impact thus protecting the servo. Having just looked into it, the 22 doesn't seem to have one either...

I get what u mean now, I was also thinking about sv2 as they do look nice

Out of the three that you have mentioned I would go for the schumacher sv2, the losi is good but hard to set up, the h2 not really been seen much so not sure so sv2 has been used and seems to work well

i have bought my firts 1/10 elektro last week, and a TLR 22 . i think i have maid the right choice , the buggy feels realy strong. and i am glad that its a losi.

maybe its best to see for you witch brand is best to get parts from in your area. that is the importent factor.

Despite the fact that the h2 and the tlr 22 dont have servo savers, newer servos can take a massive punishment,
I have the 22 and it is a tank, its very difficult to break parts, I've seen sv2s break things from a gentle tap with a barrier,
I think if you are making mistakes/new the 22 is the best option out there, if you are a confident driver, probably the sv2,
just my 2 pence :)
