DEX210 RTR Advice Please

Hi Chaps

I am about to pick up a DEX210 RTR for my young son to get him into the sport, and was wondering what bits on this car are weak and would need replacing straight out of the box.

I have a good servo to go into the car.

Also any advice on the best Lipo battery's to use?

Thanks

to be honest they're pretty tough cars, i would upgrade the wheel hex's an get front an rear arms with hinge pins an also recommend the rear carbon shock tower

I recently got a DEST210 RTR for my son.

Don't be too hasty with the servo, the RTR kit one is pretty decent !

I don't think there is anything that is weak / prone to breaking to answer your question specifically. Although there have been some questions asked over the chassis, but just drive carefully !

Thanks for the replies.

Does the diff come oil filled? Also are there any good starting setups floating around.

Thanks again.

Upgrade to RTR

Hi,

I'd recommend the following upgrades:

Replace plastic suspension hanger for aluminium:

http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php...-3-degree.html

Replace plastic rear toe block for aluminium (either one of these)

http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php...ee-dex210.html

http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php...unt-1-5-3.html

In my opinion the plastic parts are liable to breakage and upgrading will strengthen the rear so breakages won't happen.

Apart from that the car is really good as RTR. Changing to mid motor only needs a few bits and costs less than £15.
