Speed passion PRO
In need of an electrics guru, have the above an when everything's connected the motor gets hot after a few moments an the speedo I think seems to shut it off, any ideas with what's up with it or if it could hopefully be fixed?

I remember something like this happening when I had the power wires (A,B,C) accidentally connected wrong.

Checked all that an on paper everything seems to be connected right

If your spur and pinion are not binding, and your drive train runs freely when not connected to a motor, then that only really leaves:
(a) gearing too high (fit smaller pinion, or larger spur gear or lower boost settings.) (b) speedo / motor is faulty also if you run on deep grass with not enough ground clearance it may overheat as you describe. |
The gear isn't even in the car mate, I reckon its the speedo that's had it but just wanted to try an find out why an if it could be fixed?

I had a problem similar to this tried another motor and it was fine.
