Herts Regional 9th June start time

Hi one and all, firstly sorry if it's been a bit quiet with information for Sunday, I have been laid up with a virus.

Okay as for Sunday, we have a big entry, the bigest this season. We are looking at 10 heats at the moment. I really want us to get the 3 leg finals in so with this in mind we will be starting racing at 8.30.

Please note so as there are no nasty suprises on Sunday, the Short Course finals will be one leg finals, hopefully the 2 & 4wd wll be 3 legs.

Please arrive early and with everyones co-operation we can all have a busy but fun days racing. I also believe we have a rostrum ref from the club looking after you all day, I have heard he used to work as a sniper so best keep quiet up there! :-)

See you all bright and early for Sunday.

Colin

Very sensible Colin. Good job.

Is there an open class heat for this meeting? Nice weather planned, no stress of running the event and only 20 miles away sounds quite appealing if there is......

colin76 04-06-2013 12:46 PM

Open class

Hi Darren, no there is no open class for this meeting. Intentions were at the start of the season to have an open class, but with entries being around 60 mark, running both 2 & 4wd plus the Short course we just do not have time, which is good really as it's means we are popular :-) If you wanted to run S/C that would be the only class you could run in without getting "excluded" from running in two regions, unless to further complicate matters, if your running 2wd in one region, and have not run 4wd in that region you could run that? All very confusing I know.

No worries Colin, thankyou anyhow..

I believe the track is open 24/7

DaSloth 05-06-2013 09:29 PM

Hi all,

track is open 24/7 so you can arrive as early as you like, but remember track is closed Saturday for practice.

Has anything been confirmed if we are running three legs for all or just 'A' finalists?

To be clear I am perfectly happy for everyone to run three legs.

Would be handy to know before hand as I always get asked what time am I likely to be home and whether I need to take any extra food for a long days racing.

colin76 08-06-2013 10:17 AM

i really want us to run 3 legs for all finals except the short course which will be one leg. as we are starting at 8.30 we should finish around 5.30

Smartalec 08-06-2013 12:53 PM
