B max 4 2012
I have just got a new b max, before I build could someone tell me if I should use the hard or soft chassis? The car looks great by the way, maybe it will be yok for 2wd next. Will be racing on mainly astro tracks

Hard chassis would be better.

Since I mostly run on Astro and carpet I went for the hard chassis.
Not tried the soft chassis yet...or had any reason to so far. Car isn't short on grip in that configuration! Would be interested to hear if anyone has tried a comparison between the 2? |
I did. In our astro track, though is very slippery. The car was more direct with the hard chassis though needed to be pressured hard. Not my driving style on slippery tracks. I will stick with the soft one till i get better.
Probably it's the only way round carpet tracks, but on astro i think it depends on the levels of traction. |
Unless you NATO run the soft it will be more forgiving to mere mortals like us I run the original chassis you will not be disappointed this car is just excellent.

I think the hard chassis/top deck makes the car better to drive. IMO the soft version is better suited to clay. The great thing is you can mix and match with the chassis and top decks.

Thanks for the help guys, will be going with the hard chassis
