6.5T Thunderpower

Using one in 2WD 1/10th off road.

Love the speed down the straight but it has torque to match. Was wondering if anyone had tried a smaller diameter rotor on motors in order to reduce torque but increase revs? Does it make much difference?

Create something like a 'screamer' 14x1 in the old brushed days :)

Get a 8.5 and use some speedo timing

Another option is to soften the punch right down on the esc. 6.5 is brave in 2wd to say the least.

Ive got a 7.5 thunder power in 4wd and its insane 6.5 in 2wd is way to much

My 8.5T seems to have even more much punch than my 6.5T!

Mark - I don't have separate timing on my speedo so can't take an 8.5 and add timing, it adds punch at the same time.

I just fancied the idea of a 'soft' 6.5 - if there is such a thing
