RB6 electrics: how have you fitted yours?

I thought it might be a useful place to show electrics installs for new owners here so I'll start with my own RB6:

Setup with shorty LiPo, ESC and receiver behind Rudebits brass battery tray. I should really run my PT wires in the side rails but I needed to be able to switch it between cars, if I sell my DB1 then I'll tidy it away :)

Arno has a couple of pages here:

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/kyosho/...etup/rear.html

Currently running the car with saddles in the middle. Going to swap to a shorty in the centre so I can play with weight distribution

As OneKiwi said, its a 1009. Its ok, but will be replaced with a savox 1256 once I fit a shorty lipo, sometimes find the servo can be a little vague. I did run a 1009 in my zx5, but replaced it with a 1256 and had better steering control and feel.

The 1009 is the same as the Savox 1251 correct? just rebadged?

I have a LRP SXX2 in front off the motor. When i built the car i tryed to fix a Orion R1 Pro in this position, but with the original battery holder it was to big.

There are a lot of people with Orion R10 pro mounted in front of the motor, fairly sure it was the esc the car was designed around so not sure what the problem was. I have my r10 mounted there running saddles

Maybe the battery strap retainer bits being a bit tight with the fan? If you swap the battery strap around so the speedo end has the clips and the end which tucks under is servo end it gives you loadsa room :)

Mine, just arrived today and just finished puting my electrics in.
I have a Savox 1251 to go in aswell, but dont have the correct mounts.
Motor wires are a little long, one I had to solder directly to the stator (the copper on the solder post broke off last meet).
