2.4 ghz receivers
 

Can any receiver be paired with any transmitter or is it best to stick with the same manufacturer?? ive got a Core Tx and am getting another car which Rx do i go for.

exactly the same as original with a different label as far as I can tell

As a general rule receivers and transmitters cannot be mixed on 2.4Ghz. Exceptions are the FRSky receivers that are compatible with Futaba FASST systems and, apparently, the Code one above.
