Urgent help, need a a quick question answering now.

hi guys, jus been rebuilding my tamiya SLK rear wheel drive car that ive jus bought of the bay and im not too sure wot to do with the diff. ive got the destructiuons but can i ask, do i need to grease up all the insides of the diff, the three triangular cogs onto the big center one? or not, as currently its all covered in a fine white powder, i dont know if this is to keep it dry or its old dried up lube?

anyone help?

thankyou.

it's old dried up lube. Some thick grease should do the trick - tamiya antiwear grease would be a good one to stop it being too free.
