Vaga 22 ?

Has any one managed to run the new vaga 22 yet looks good but is there any benefits ? Ie is it worth it ?

There's only one that exists so not many people would have tried them yet.
That car was raced by a local club driver at Maritime Tuesday eve, went really well!

It did look pretty good and fits the brand very nicely.
Gordon did certainly test it well.
Hopefully we can get a few more running up there soon.

It's pretty, but at £210 it seems pretty pricey for a conversion.

Looks amazing, out of my pockets reach...

It's not a cheap conversion kit that's for sure but not a million miles off the centro kit price and it looks much nicer to my eye. Not that looks have anything to do with performance for an RC car. I still think you could build one for a reasonable price as there are plenty of potential donor cars out there to reduce the cost. If Kyosho can happily price a 2wd kit at £370 then I'm sure people will happily buy this for the 22 plus it's solved the issue of the mid motor placement for the 22 being miles from the axle.

If you really want to spend oodles of cash buy the RB6, then buy the Vega kit, oh and not to forget the Vega weight kit...that will be £630.00 - ooh, suits you sir ;)

Spoke to will Johnson last night.
They have 11 completed kits ready to ship.
The test car looks and go really well around maritime raceway.
Seriously, needs thinking about, unbreakable vega!

Hi Garry, I don't suppose you know if the new updated Vega gearboxes are finished yet?

Thanks, Paul

Garry Spice 05-06-2013 06:47 PM

Hi paul, I believe they are.
The test bed running the old box but the kits should have the new gearbox.
I'm sure lewis will correct me if I'm wrong.
