Initial costings upon first racing?

Anyway, will I need to purchase a transponder straight away? And I imagine best to join asap to lower entry fees?

I'm sure someone might be able to lend you a PT for the first few times you race.

Re Membership, as a member you not only get discounted racing, but also a bigger discount on tyres. It all depends on how often you can race. More than once a month then your saving money whilst also being part of the club :)
