B44 Front Wheels

Has anyone else had the hexes strip on the B44 front wheels? I had two go from different pairs at the weekend, much to my frustration, they both only lasted about 3 minutes. This is the first time I have used the associated wheels, and the first time I have ever stripped a wheel :(

were you using the B44 kit hex?

the B44 hex is deeper and matches the B44 wheels especially NOT to stip hex's

Sounds very odd dude. I use Associated and Losi wheels on the B44 and they fit like a glove with no show of wear or stripping.

Sounds as if the your using the wrong size hexes. Or are you absolutely positive that you're bolting on Associated wheels? May sound daft but sometimes its just the simplist of things that confuse us humans. :eh?:

Hope you find out the source of the problem dude. Let us know when you do.

Good luck.

Yep definatly associated wheels. I normally use Losi ones, and have never had a problem, ran out of wheels so used the kit ones and a pair that I bought, which lasted like I said about 3 minutes. The driveshafts and hexes are still the original ones from the kit!!

Only on one did.

Tis just annoying, in 8 years of racing I have never had a wheel strip or come off, then two in one day
