Outdoor Club Night - Grass Track- 22 May 2013
 
Booking in for 180 Wednesday is now open. This meeting will be on our new '180' grass track.

Date: 22 May 2013

Classes - 2wd, 4wd, Stadium Truck, and Short Course.

Entry Fee - £5 for members, £7 for Non-members.

Times - Gates open at 17.20 or earlier (depending on traffic), with the track open from practice once you have booked in. If you have pre-booked you can go straight out to practice, as long as you pay your entry fee before Heat One is on the line.

Heat One on the line for 18.45

If you can't make it for 18.45, let us know and we will try to put you in a higher heat.

Format - 3 Rounds and a Final for all.

The track looks really good, many thanks to Matt Fletcher for sacrificing his day yesterday covering the jumps, and adjusting the layout ready for tonights meeting.:thumbsup:

PS the club will have a selection of tyres available tonight at the usual prices.

Thanks for putting on the racing last night guys, and for lending me a car!

Track was great fun and a good layout. I know there have been some doubts about the height and position of the rostrum. Personally I thought the majority of the track was easy enough to see and race on. Only the straight at the back of the track was tricky. As the track can still be changed, this could be helped by either bringing the main straight to the front of the track or just making it wider.

The only other improvement I would personally benefit from is the track edgings to be white at the hair pin bends. In the dieing light they didn't really stand out.
