novak gtb fan hitting body shell

you can remove the little 2mm washers between the fan and heatsink. Or many people take the fan off and mount a smaller fan on the chassis pointed at the speedo.

in winter with a 6.5 or 7.5 then you could get away with no fan, but in summer heat it's best to keep some air flow

You need to mount the fan something like this:

I run my B4 indoors with a 6.5 without a fan with no issues, even running lipo. Also running the gtb

The fan in the pic is the Novak 25mm fan

The top of it is rounded off with a sanding drum.
