Difference RTR DEST210 and kit

Hi,

I just saw that there are currently very low prices for the RTR models.

Can you please tell me the difference between the RTR DEST210 and the kit one?

Is it only the gear diff??

Thanks!!

as far as i can tell yes, the only difference between the rtr and the full fat kit is the gear diff, the full fat also has the parts to convert to mid motor, which the RTR cant do.
but the parts required are minimal and wouldnt cost much to get hold of

I was surprised to see the rtr model comes with an alloy steering brace where as the full fat 210 buggy has a plastic one

I bought a DESC210 because this offer and compared it to a kit DESC210, seems like no difference except you get the geared diff... Which I prefer anyway so they've done me a favour, a RTR body which is a bit lame but that's about it... Getting free radio gear sort of makes up for it IMO. If you want to convert to MM you just need to purchase a few cheap bits

Isn't the RR brace in plastic instead of alu?
I think the 210 buggy was like that
