Vented Slipper - loose?

Hi,

I wanted to mout the new vented slipper plates on my DEX210, but I can not get them fixed correctly. They are always loose.

A friend of mine experienced the same problems...

The funny thng is that with the stock slipper plates everything works perfectly.

Is there maybe another spring needed for the vented one?

Thanks,

Alex

When I fitted vented plates I changed nothing else. (Intentionally)

Mine where a direct replacement to the standard ones

I found I needed to put a shim before the plates to get them to work.

Can you please tell me which shim you took and where exactly you placed it?

Thanks

I used #TD709015, put them on the shaft before putting the slipper plates on.

A lad at my club had the same issue, I put them in brake cleaner and they were fine. It must have been some oil or something from the anodizing process. He's never had a problem since.

If you've glazed the pads from the initial fault remember to turn them over otherwise it'll slip again.
